Egg Drop Mission

• Design, create, and test a device to protect fresh eggs (not boiled).
• Three eggs (#1) will be dropped from the fifth floor.
• Your device must protect the eggs so they will land safely on the ground without breaking or cracking.
  

Rules

• Get into groups of 3 students and work together on this assignment.
• Use any material that you like to build your protective device.
• After the egg lands, you have 20 seconds to expose it (Think carefully about your packaging)

Tip

• Search the Internet for ideas.
• Go for efficiency: cheap materials and useful design.
• Test your project before we try it at school.
• Apply the Engineering Design Process.
